Peter Simon is a bassist, a cabinetmaker (Tischler), an artist, and a perfectionist — in that exact order. Based in Innsbruck, the heart of Tirol, he brings decades of woodworking mastery to the art of bass building.
Every Simon bass begins with the wood. Selected by hand, shaped by experience, and refined with an obsessive attention to detail that comes from understanding what a working bassist truly needs. From the extra-thick headstock that eliminates dead spots, to the angled machine heads that respect the physics of string tension — every element is intentional.
His workshop on Maximilianstrasse is where tradition meets innovation. Where the precision of a master woodworker meets the groove of a bass player. Where mediocrity is, quite simply, meaningless.
